Multilayer polymeric film comprising a base layer of a propylene polymer, a non-voided intermediate layer on the base layer, and a heat sealable polymer layer on the intermediate layer, the non-voided intermediate layer having an internal cohesive strength less than the bond strength of the intermediate layer to either the base layer or the heat sealable layer and loss than the internal cohesive strengths of either the base layer or the heat sealable layer. Such films enable peelable heat seals to be formed by rupture of the intermediate layer due to its lower internal cohesive strength compared with the core layer or the heat seal layer.

Un film polymère à couches multiples comprend une couche de base en polypropylène, une couche intermédiaire sans vides sur la couche de base et une couche de polymère thermosoudable sur la couche intermédiaire. La couche intermédiaire sans vides présente une puissance cohésive interne inférieure à la résistance de collage de la couche intermédiaire aussi bien à la couche de base qu'à la couche thermosoudable et inférieure aux puissances cohésives internes de la couche de base ou de la couche thermosoudable. Ces films permettent de former des thermosoudures pelables, par la rupture du film intermédiaire, et ce grâce à sa puissance cohésive interne plus faible, comparativement à celle de la couche de base ou celle de la couche thermosoudable.
