A material combining properties possessed by crosslinked polymers with stretchability or viscoelasticity. The material comprises a polyrotaxane and a polymer, wherein the polyrotaxane comprises cyclic molecules, a linear molecule which pierces the cyclic molecules to form a clathrate therewith, and blocking groups disposed respectively at both ends of the linear molecule so as to prevent the cyclic molecules from separating from the linear molecule, and the polyrotaxane has been bonded to part or all of the polymer through the cyclic molecules.

La matière comprend un polyrotaxane et un polymère, dans laquelle le polyrotaxane comprend des molécules cycliques, une molécule linéaire qui transperce les molécules cycliques pour former un clathrate avec celles-ci et des groupes bloquants placés respectivement aux deux extrémités de la molécule linéaire de façon à empêcher les molécules cycliques de se séparer de la molécule linéaire, et le polyrotaxane a été lié à une partie ou à la totalité du polymère via les molécules cycliques.
