Methods for making biomaterials for use as a tissue sealant, kits containing precursors for forming the biomaterials, and the resulting biomaterials are described herein. The biomaterials are formed from a composition comprising at least a firstand a second precursor molecule, wherein: i)the first precursor molecule is a poly(ethylene glycol) based polymer having x nucleophilic groups selected from the group consisting of thiol or amino groups, wherein x is equal to 2 or greater than 2, preferably 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8; ii)the second precursor molecule is of the general formula: A-[(C3H6O) n-(C2H4O) m-B] i wherein m and n are integers from 1 to 200 i is greater than 2, preferably 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 A is a branch point B is a conjugated unsaturated group.
L'invention porte sur des procédés de fabrication de biomatériaux destinés à être utilisés comme agent de scellement tissulaire, sur des coffrets contenant des précurseurs pour former les biomatériaux, et sur les biomatériaux résultants. Les biomatériaux sont formés à partir d'une composition comprenant au moins une première et une seconde molécule précurseur, dans laquelle : i) la première molécule précurseur est un polymère à base de poly(éthylène glycol) ayant x groupes nucléophiles choisis dans le groupe constitué par des groupes thiol ou amino, où x est égal à 2 ou à plus de 2, étant de préférence 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ou 8; ii) la seconde molécule précurseur présente la formule générale : A-[(C3H6O)n-(C2H4O)m-B]idans laquelle m et n sont des entiers de 1 à 200, i est supérieur à 2, étant de préférence 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ou 8, A est un point de branchement, B est un groupe insaturé conjugué.
