Vaccine adjuvants comprising a liquid medium containing polymers with anionic constitutive repeating units and hydrophobic constitutive repeating units. Advantageously, said adjuvants are aqueous solutions of partially esterified polyacrylic acids. The novel adjuvants are highly stable, effective and with a relatively low level of local toxicity. Further, vaccines comprising such adjuvants and a process for producing the adjuvants are described.

Adjuvants pour vaccins comprenant un milieu liquide contenant des polymères ayant des unités constitutionnelles répétitives anioniques et des unités constitutionnelles répétitives hydrophobes. Avantageusement, les adjuvants sont des solutions acqueuses d'acides polyacryliques partiellement estérifiés. Ces nouveaux adjuvants sont très stables, efficaces et n'ont qu'une toxicité locale relativement faible. En outre, l'invention concerne également des vaccins comprenant de tels adjuvants ainsi qu'un procédé pour leur fabrication.
