POLYMERIZATES OF OLEFINIC NITRILES AND DIENE RUBBERS Abstract of the Disclosure Polymeric compositions having good impact resistance, low permeability to gases, and high-softening temperatures which are composed of a conjugated diene monomer, such as butadiene, an olefinically unsaturated nitrile, such as acrylonitrile, an ester of an olefinically unsaturated acid, such as methyl acrylate, and indene are described. These composition due to their physical properties of good impact resistance and low permeability to gases also have excellent solvent resistance and are useful in the manufacture of bottles, films and other types of containers for liquids and solids.
