A novel composition, based on polymerized collagen, with an anti-fibroid, and regenerative effect is disclosed In a preferred embodiment, the composition comprises soluble collagen and a vinyl polymer. The vinyl polymer provides a controlled cross-linking of the collagen, determining in a great measure the anti-fibroid activity.
