Polyol combination comprising up to a total of 100 parts by weight (1) 95.1 to 99.9 parts by weight of a first polyol having a nominal average functionality higher than 4.5, an equivalent molecular weight in the range of 1500 to 2500, a hydroxyl value in the range of 25 to 35 mg KOH/g and an ethylene oxide content in the range of 10 to 30 % by weight based on total weight of said first polyol, and (2) 0.1 to 4.9 parts by weight of a second polyol having a nominal average functionality in the range of 2.2 to 6, an equivalent molecular weight in the range of 1000 to 3000 and an ethylene oxide content of at least 50 % by weight based on total weight of said second polyol, wherein the polyol combination is essentially free of stably dispersed polymer particles. The polyol combination is very suitable for application in formulations for preparing polyurethane foams for sound deadening applications.
L'invention se rapporte à une combinaison de polyols comportant, pour un total de 100 parts en poids, (1) 95,1 à 99,9 parts en poids d'un premier polyol ayant une fonctionnalité moyenne nominale supérieure à 4,5, un poids moléculaire équivalent compris entre 1500 et 2500, une valeur hydroxyle comprise entre 25 et 35 mg KOH/g et une teneur en oxyde d'éthylène comprise entre 10 et 30 % en poids par rapport au poids total dudit premier polyol, et (2) 0,1 à 4,9 parts en poids d'un second polyol ayant une fonctionnalité moyenne nominale comprise entre 2,2 et 6, un poids moléculaire équivalent compris entre 1000 et 3000 et une teneur en oxyde d'éthylène supérieure à 50 % en poids par rapport au poids total dudit second polyol. Cette combinaison de polyols ne contient sensiblement pas de particules polymères dispersées de manière stable. Elle s'avère particulièrement adaptée à l'utilisation dans des formulations de préparation de mousses de polyuréthanne mises en oeuvre dans des applications d'atténuation sonore.
