The invention relates to polyol compositions, in particular for reaction with polyisocyanates of the diphenylmethane series, which comprise a) a polyol having a hydroxyl equivalent weight of up to 150 and a functionality of 4 to 8, b) a polyether-polyol having a hydroxyl equivalent weight of more than 1900 and a functionality of 2 to 4 and c) a polypropylene glycol having a functionality of 2 to 3, a polytetrahydrofuran, each of which has a hydroxyl equivalent weight of 150 to 500, or a mixture of the two. The polyol compositions are distinguished by a low tendency to demix, even during prolonged storage. Reaction mixtures of the polyol compositions described and polyisocyanates of the diphenylmethane series cure fully without passing through a brittle phase. The mouldings formed have good mechanical properties.
