A compound of formula (I) wherein X is L-serine residue, L-asparagine residue or (S)-2-aminobutyric acid residue and Y is .alpha.-L-amino acid residue, its salt or its pro-drug has remarkable antibacterial activity against Helicobacter bacteria.

L'invention a pour objet un composé selon la formule (I). Dans cette dernière, X est un résidu de L-sérine, L-asparagine ou d'acide (S)-2-aminobutyrique et Y représente un résidu d'acide .alpha.-L-amine, son sel ou son promédicament . Ce composé présente une excellente activité antibactérienne contre les bactérie de Helicobacter .
