A method for the preparation of polyolefins comprising the following steps: a) grafting of acid groups onto polyolefins using a graftable monomer carrying at least one functional group chosen from a carbonyl and an acid anhydride, optionally in the presence of another graftable monomer carrying a vinyl unsaturation and, optionally one or more aromatic nuclei, b) purification consisting in eliminating at least part of the graftable monomer carrying at least one functional group chosen from a carbonyl and an acid anhydride and which has not reacted with the polyolefins, c) neutralization of the acid groups by at least one neutralizing agent. The invention also refers to a polyolefin thus obtained.

Procédé de préparation de polyoléfines comprenant les étapes de (a) greffage de groupes acides sur des polyoléfines au moyen d'un monomère greffable porteur d'au moins un groupe fonctionnel choisi parmi un carbonyle et un anhydride d'acide, éventuellement en présence d'un autre monomère greffable porteur d'une insaturation vinylique et éventuellement d'un ou de plusieurs noyaux aromatiques; (b) épuration consistant à éliminer au moins une partie du monomère greffable porteur d'au moins un groupe fonctionnel choisi parmi un carbonyle et un anhydride d'acide, n'ayant pas réagi avec les polyoléfines; (c) neutralisation des groupes acides par au moins un agent neutralisant. Polyoléfine obtenue.
