337-2163 (8CT-4857) ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A multi-stage polyorganosiloxane/polyvinyl- based graft polymer is provided by the co-homo- polymerization of organosiloxanes and a vinyl-based monomer (e.g. styrene) and the subsequent graft polymerization of one or more stages of additional (meth)acrylate monomers, vinyl aromatic/(meth)acrylate comonomers or vinyl aromatic/vinyl cyanide/(meth)acrylate termonomers with or without an intermediary stage comprising a polymer.
