Polypeptide caractérisé en ce qu'il est obtenu par le procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes : a) amplification d'une séquence nucléique d'un virus de type HIV2 ou de type SIV, codant pour ledit polypeptide à l'aide de l'un des couples d'amorces suivants : POL1-POL2, P1-P2, P2B-P4, P6-P7B, GAG1-GAG5, GAG2-GAG5, GAG1-GAG2B, lesdites amorces étant caractérisées par les enchaînements nucléotidiques suivants, ou leurs séquences complémentaires : POL1 TGGGGAAAGAAGCCCCGCAA POL2 CCAAAGAGAGAATTGAGGTGCAGC P1 CAGAAATAGGGATACTTGGGGAACC P2 GCCTGAATAATTGGTATCATTACA P6 GGGATAGTGCAGCAACAGCAACAG P7B ATCAGCTGGCGGATCAGGAAATG GAG1 ATGGGCGCGAGAAACTCCGTCTTG GAG5 ATGGTGCTGTTGGTCTACTTGT GAG2 CCCGGCGGAAAGAAAAAGTACA GAG2B TGTACTTTTTCTTTCCGCCGGG b) introduction de ladite séquence nucléique amplifiée dans un vecteur approprié, pour l'obtention d'un vecteur recombinant; c) transformation de cellules hôtes appropriées à l'aide du vecteur recombinant susmentionné; d) mise en culture des cellules hôtes appropriées et récupération du polypeptide recombinant synthétisé par les cellules transformées.
