A B S T R A C T A polyphase, e.g. three phase, isolator switch, of which the movable contact members of all phases extend through a common bushing insulator mounted in a partition between two compartments for rotation about an axis normal to said partition and are simultaneously moved to make and break the circuit by rotation of said insulator.
