The present invention describes a free-radical-polymerizable macromer based on polysiloxane and polyperfluoroalkyl ether segments; a polymer comprising the product of the polymerization of a novel macromer, alone or together with at least one vinylic comonomer; a process for the preparation of a macromer and a polymer; mouldings, contact lenses, corneal implants and biomedical articles made from a polymer; and articles coated with a macromer of the present invention or a polymerization product thereof.
Cette invention concerne un macromère de la formule (I) pouvant polymériser par une réaction radicalaire. Ce macromère est basé sur un perfluoroalkyléther non substitué ou substitué symétriquement. L'invention concerne également un polymère comprenant le produit de la polymérisation du nouveau macromère, seul ou en combinaison avec au moins un co-monomère vinylique; un procédé de préparation d'un tel macromère et d'un tel polymère; des éléments moulés, des verres de contact, des greffons cornéens et des articles biomédicaux réalisés avec ce polymère; et des articles revêtus d'un macromère de la formule (I) ou d'un produit de polymérisation de celui-ci.
