A polysiloxane prepolymer that is useful for forming biomedical devices has the formula (I): M(*Dii* PS)x *Dii*M wherein: each M is independently a polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated radical; each Dii is independently a diradical residue of a diisocyanate; each PS is independently a diradical residue of a polysiloxane-diol or a polysiloxane-diamine; each * is independently -NH-CO-NH-, -NH-COO- or -OCO-NH-; and x is at least 2.

L'invention concerne un pré-polymère polysiloxane utilisable pour la fabrication de dispositifs biomédicaux. Le pré-polymère polysiloxane répond à la formule (I) : M(*Dii* PS)x *Dii*M dans laquelle : chaque M est indépendamment un radical insaturé éthyléniquement polymérisable ; chaque Dii est indépendamment un résidu diradical de diisocyanate ; chaque PS est indépendamment un résidu diradical d'un polysiloxane-diol ou d'une polysiloxane-diamine ; chaque * est indépendamment un -NH-CO-NH-, un -NH-COO- ou un -OCO-NH- ; et x est au moins égal à 2.
