POLYUREA REACTION INJECTION MOLDED BODY PANELS D#81. 163 -F ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A reinforced reaction injection molded polyurea elastomer with higher impact strength is disclosed. The RRIM polyurea elastomer comprises an (A) component which includes a polyisocyanate and a (B) component which comprises (1) an amine terminated polyoxyalkylene polyol; (2) a chain extender, in an amount necessary to provide a polyurea elastomer with a neat modulus of between about 20,000 and about 60,000; and (3) a filler material, in an amount sufficient to raise the the modulus of the polyurea elastomer to a filled modulus of between about 200,000 and about 300,000 psi. A method of making the RRIM polyurea elastomer is also provided.
