A polyurethane based film laminating adhesive containing a prepolymer prepared by reacting MDI with a polyol in the presence of an organophosphite is provided. The phosphite is present in an amount of about 0.1 to about 10% relative to the weight of said prepolymer. The prepolymer is characterized in having an isocyanate content of from about 1 to 25% by weight.
