A polyurethane foam can be flame retarded by the incorporation therein of a flame retardant blend that comprises: (a) a non-oligomeric non-halogenated organophosphorus flame retardant (e.g., a phosphate ester) that is adapted for use in a polyurethane foam formulation; and (b) an oligomeric organophosphorus flame retardant (e.g., a phosphate ester) having a phosphorus content of not less than about 10 %, by weight, and at least three phosphate ester units therein.

La présente invention concerne une mousse de polyuréthanne que l'on peut rendre ininflammable en y incorporant un mélange ininflammable qui comprend: (a) un composé ininflammable organophosphoré non halogéné et non oligomère (par exemple un ester de phosphate) adapté pour être utilisé dans une fabrication de mousse de polyuréthanne, et (b) un composé ininflammable organophosphoré et oligomère (par exemple un ester de phosphate) possédant un contenu phosphoré supérieur à environ 10 % en masse, et au moins trois unités d'ester de phosphate.
