The protection of metallic constructions from corrosive factors is a global problem, far surpassing by impact many others in the engineering practice. The principal reason is, that a polyvalent, "eternal" surface defender, available in a reasonable price doesn't exists, and sooner or later the corrosive action of the combined moisture, oxygen, salts, microbial activity, heat and ultraviolet radiation and formed radicals by them becomes destructive for any kind of metallic surface. The presented invention shows an economic and fast way to protect metallic constructions of any shape and composition, by the use of the high resistant and elastic hydrophobic poly(urethane - siloxane) copolymer, formed by dispersing the two main respective solutions in an variable, frequency modulated ultrasound field, that cleanse the metallic surface from the impurities, thus mixing and dispersing the respective flows and giving the initial energy for the reaction of copolymerization. The technology allows very high precision of the obtained parameters like thickness and uniformity of the formed film, theorically until nanometers, so the formed surface coat may be very thin, thus remaining chemically and biologically resistant, and well adhered onto any metallic surface for long time, without loosing its elasticity and adhesive force. Other important characteristic of the ultrasonic formed poly-(urethane - siloxane) film is that's easy paintable, thus preserving high elasticity, and combined with its initial relatively low price and ease of work it may be used like incorporated steel primer for protecting the steel support in the cement-steel constructions, even they are exposed in extreme temperature and moisture fluctuations. The material is with high resistivity towards the microbial factors and other kind of enzymatic (or biologic) degradation, so is suitable for use in biologic reactors like microbial support. The poly- (urethane -siloxane) shows astonishing resistivity towards the ultraviolet radiation, that is 3 to 5 times highest than those of the others known and used polymeric protective coatings, so the use of the material for protecting naval and other marine constructions, submerged in salt water, is very suitable too.
