ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Veterinary compositions of matter useful as vaccines in the biologic treatment of a multifaceted livestock disease syn- drome which is commonly referred to as "shipping fever", the present compositions of matter include the killed bacteria asso- ciated with the cause of the disease syndrome preferably in a water/oil emulsion. The invention further provides a method for the prophylactic and therapeutic treatment of the shipping fever disease syndrome with the aforesaid compositions of matter.
