A polyvinyl chloride composition includes from about 50 to about 90 parts by weight of polyvinyl chloride homopolymer; and, from about 10 to about 50 parts by weight of a copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate. A method for forming an article from a polyvinyl chloride composition includes admixing from about 50 to about 90 parts by weight of polyvinyl chloride homopolymer with from about 10 to about 50 parts by weight of a copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate, to form an admixture; and, processing the admixture into the shape of the article at a temperature below about 260°F.
