A glove having improved chemical permeation resistance includes a substrate body (26) formed from polyvinyl chloride and a barrier layer (32) overlying at least a portion of the substrate body (26), where the barrier layer (32) is formed from an acrylic polymer having a glass transition temperature of from about -30~C to about 30~C.
