ABSTRACT A rigid polyvinyl chloride composition which is formable at elevated temperatures and is a shape-retaining solid at room temperature is provided. The composition comprises a rigid polyvinyl chloride resin and an internal lubricant. The rigid polyvinyl chloride resin comprises a polyvinyl chloride homopolymer or a polyvinyl chloride copolymer. The lubricant comprises a propylene glycol ester of an unsaturated carboxylic acid having some 8 to 20 carbon atoms. The composition is particularly suitable for use with polymers and copolymers of vinyl chloride prepared by bulk or suspension polymerization.
