ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE An apparatus used to pick up and store dog excrement comprises a detachable hook and ring fastener, a storage sac, and a drawstring pouch with an inner glove. The apparatus is attached to the handle of the dog's leash by the ring and detached for use via the hook fastener. For use, the pouch is withdrawn from the storage sac, the drawstring is opened, and a hand is inserted into the glove. With the hand in the glove the pouch is inverted bringing the glove to the exterior. A disposable plastic bag is placed over the glove to be used to retrieve the faecal matter. Once retrieved the pouch is pulled back over the glove and plastic bag storing the faecal matter inside. The drawstring is pulled closed and the apparatus is reattached to the ring on the leash for carrying.
