A B S T R A C T In a pool slide, a plurality of support means, each support means comprising an extension secured in said channel for projecting outwardly therefrom to be secured to a leg supporting the slide, means applied longitudinally in the channel on either side of said extension and secured thereto and to the bed of said channel by means exerting continuous forces directed from said means applied on either side of said extension towards said extension and towards said bed, and a leg for mating with said extension whereby forces exerted on the pool slide by a user descending said slide are received by said support means and distributed therein for precluding-toppling of the slide and cracking of the support means thereby prolonging the useful life of the slide.
