Particularly, there is provided methods, probes and DNA molecules involved in identifying a pig as resistant or non-resistant to ETEC. Elle concerne notamment des procédés, des sondes et des molécules d'ADN impliqués dans l'identification d'un cochon en tant que résistant ou non résistant à ETEC. Cette invention se rapporte aussi à des procédés d'élevage de cochons au moyen des informations sur la résistance/non résistance, de sperme de sanglier mélangé, ainsi qu'à des procédés de fabrications de médicaments afin de compenser la non résistance à ETEC.
