A porous carbon sheet obtained by binding separate carbon short fibers with a carbonization product of a resin, wherein the pore mode diameter of the sheet is 45 to 90µm and the mean fiber diameter of the carbon short fibers is 5 to 20µm. The sheet can be produced by thermoforming a precursor fiber sheet comprising carbon short fibers of 15 to 30g/m2 in basis weight and a thermosetting resin of 30 to 80g/m2 in basis weight by hot plates having a certain clearance and carbonizing the thermosetting resin contained in the thermoformed precursor fiber sheet.

La présente invention concerne une feuille de carbone poreuse obtenue en liant des fibres de carbone courtes séparées avec un produit de carbonisation d'une résine, le diamètre moyen de pores de la feuille étant de 45 à 90 µm et le diamètre moyen de fibres des fibres de carbone courtes étant de 5 à 20 µm. La feuille peut être produite par thermoformage d~une feuille de fibre de précurseur comprenant des fibres de carbone courtes de 15 à 30 g/m2 sur la base du poids et d~une résine thermodurcissable de 30 à 80 g/m2 sur la base du poids avec des plaques chauffantes ayant un certain jeu et par carbonisation de la résine thermodurcissable contenue dans la feuille de fibre de précurseur thermoformée.
