A method of manufacturing a porous carbon stock material by treating a carbonized coal obtained by carbonization of a carbon compound with a halogen, wherein a carbonized coal having a hydrogen content of 0.1 to 5.0 wt. % or a carbonized coal obtained by carbonization of a carbon compound at a temperature of 250 to 1200 ~C is used; or a method of manufacturing a porous carbon stock material by treating a carbon compound with a halogen, wherein the carbon compound comprising a stock carbon compound and/or a carbon compound provided by heating a carbon compound at 250 ~C or lower is used. It is possible to obtain a porous carbon stock material having a superior adsorption performance to conventional ones as an adsorption material for gas separation and an excellent storage performance for electrochemical energy.
Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé qui permet de fabriquer un matériau réserve de carbone poreux, en traitant un charbon carbonisé obtenu par carbonisation d'un composé de carbone avec un halogène, procédé dans lequel on utilise un charbon carbonisé ayant une teneur en hydrogène comprise entre 0,1 et 5,0 % en poids ou un charbon carbonisé obtenu par carbonisation d'un composé de carbone à une température comprise entre 250 et 1200 ·C; ou à un procédé servant à fabriquer un matériau réserve de carbone poreux, en traitant un composé de carbone avec un halogène, procédé dans lequel on utilise ledit composé de carbone comprenant un composé de carbone de réserve ou/et un composé de carbone obtenu par chauffage d'un composé de carbone à une température inférieure ou égale à 250 ·C. On parvient ainsi à obtenir un matériau réserve de carbone poreux ayant des performances d'adsorption supérieures à celles des matériaux classiques, utilisable comme matériau d'adsorption pour des applications dans le domaine de la séparation des gaz, ainsi que d'excellentes performances à l'entreposage pour des applications dans le domaine de l'énergie électrochimique.
