An air filter filter medium having a polytetrafluoroethylene porous membrane and an air-permeable support material laminated on at least one surface of the porous membrane, wherein the porous membrane and the support material are bonded together via a fibrous hot-melt adhesive concatenated by independent fibers and/or knots, thereby keeping a high trapping efficiency of an air filter filter medium and a pressure loss as low as that encountered with a fusion bonded one.

Cette invention concerne un support de filtrage pour filtre à air comportant une membrane poreuse en polytétrafluoroéthylène et un matériau support perméable à l'air laminés sur au moins une surface de la membrane poreuse. Cette membrane et le matériau support sont collés l'un à l'autre au moyen d'un produit adhésif thermofusible fibreux concaténé par des fibres et/ou des noeuds distincts. Ainsi le support de filtrage du filtre à air possède une capacité d'arrêt élevée pour une perte de pression aussi faible que dans le cas d'un assemblage par fusion.
