A porous prilled product such as ammonium nitrate is disclosed which is in the form of a crystalline matrix which has hollow microspheres incorporated in the matrix in a concentration of from 0,01 to 500 parts per million. A method for producing the aforesaid product is also disclosed in which the microspheres are incorporated in the ammonium nitrate during the prilling of the latter.

Produit granulé poreux, comme le nitrate d'ammonium, se présentant sous forme d'une matrice cristallisée, renfermant des microsphères creuses à une concentration de 0,01 à 500 parties par million. L'invention présente également une méthode pour préparer le produit ci-dessus, les microsphères étant incorporées dans le nitrate d'ammonium lors de sa granulation.
