ABSTRACT: In a child's bed mattress it is known to be of one-piece construction together with a backrest and a forward riser. In this invention one side of its base has a thick wall integrated along its entire length such that it extends upwards from the base. This wall has a sculpted concave contour along its length and faces a lower riser integrated along the opposite parallel side. The bed mattress with the sculptured wall facilitates the medically suggested resting position for an infant child. The riser prevents the child from rolling sideways off the open side of the mattress.
