Presented and claimed is a portable device for communication, in particular a mobile telephone, in which emergency operation with transmitting and receiv-ing is possible even with empty rechargeable battery. For this purpose, in addition to a main rechargeable battery (14), which is provided and designed for normal opera-tion and is charged by a separate charging device at a power outlet, the device (10) has an emergency recharge-able battery (16), which is charged by an integrated elec-tromechanical generator (22). This generator, which sup-plies electricity during movement of the device, is an un-balance rotation generator (22), known per se, or a linear generator. During emergency operation, the main battery (14) is not connected to the electronics (12) of the device, and the limited functions of the device necessary for the emergency operation are supplied with current by the emergency rechargeable battery (16). In addition, a switch (32), able to be actuated from outside or automatically, is built in. The device according to the invention proves valuable especially in situations where an emergency call must be enabled by all means and where an interactive operation is necessary.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif portable destiné à la communication, et en particulier un téléphone mobile, capable dun fonctionnement durgence avec émission et réception, même lorsque la batterie rechargeable est vide. À cette fin, en plus dune batterie rechargeable principale (14), fournie et conçue pour un fonctionnement normal et chargée à laide dun dispositif chargeur distinct sur une prise de courant, le dispositif (10) possède une batterie durgence rechargeable (16), chargée au moyen dun chargeur électromécanique intégré (22). Ledit générateur, qui alimente le dispositif en électricité lors dun mouvement du dispositif, est un générateur à rotation non équilibrée (22), connu en soi, ou un générateur linéaire. En fonctionnement durgence, la batterie principale (14) nest pas connectée à lélectronique (12) du dispositif, et les fonctions limitées du dispositif nécessaires au fonctionnement durgence sont alimentées en courant par la batterie rechargeable durgence (16). De plus, un interrupteur (32), pouvant être actionné de lextérieur ou automatiquement, est intégré. Le dispositif conforme à linvention savère particulièrement utile dans les situations où un appel durgence doit être activé par tous les moyens et dans lesquelles un fonctionnement interactif est nécessaire.
