A portable cooking grill for use over open fires, or other heat sources, is disclosed. The portable cooking grill comprises two pairs of elongate leg members, each leg member having a ground contacting first end portion and an upwardly extending second end portion. A first grill frame member is securely operatively connected in height adjustable relation to one pair of the elongate leg members, and a second grill frame member is securely operatively connected in height adjustable relation to the other pair of the elongate leg members. A plurality of generally horizontally disposed elongate grill members are operatively supported above the ground contacting first end portions by the first and second grill frame members in spanning relation therebetween. Each grill frame member comprises an equal plurality of grill member apertures therein, with each of the grill member apertures being shaped and dimensioned to receive and retain a corresponding one of the elongate grill members therein.
