PORTABLE DISPLAY PANEL APPARATUS ABSTRACT A portable display unit including a plurality of panels hingedly connected along adjacent vertical sides with an upper set of panels connected by a single resiliently compressible fastener extending from frame to frame of vertically adjacent panels. A frame assembly for each panel provides sufficient structural support for panels having lightweight foam cores and adhesively attached outer sheets. Fabric hinges permit a set of panels to be stacked closely, without dis- assembly, for storage and shipment. Individual panel faces are replaceable and the interior of a panel unit may be illuminated in one embodiment of the invention.
