ABSTRACT (ss. 21, 31, 34 and 142) A "new type" of device used for a safety lock, while having "portability". This can be accomplished by having a knurled handle with set screw which provides the adjustment to accommodate the door's width. The body of the device also contains the piece which fits into the arpeture where the lock bolt would originally enter. This device is stamped out of lightweight steel and shaped where necessary to straighten the said device. The device is designed in such a way to provide easy installation, operation and removal techniques.
