A-303 MATRIX CORPORATION ABSTRACT A portable seat may be folded to a transport position by disposing the seat and support member in generally parallel relationship to each other and in a plurality of select posi- tions longitudinally of each other, the entire seat assembly being suitable to transport by hanging from the belt or the like of a wearer. The seat is provided with a removable prong which pierces the ground to support the seat assembly when it is not occupied and also may be removed for the purpose of utilizing the seat on hard surfaces such as those encountered indoors.
