This invention is a portable goal apparatus (10), which is lightweight, portable, and disassembles into a compact package. The goal pieces interconnect using convenient snap fittings. The goal apparatus includes elbows (18, 28, 38, 44) which facilitate assembly through ease of insertion and snap connections which may be easily disengaged. Further, the assembled goal has sectional horizontal (14, 46), and vertical (20, 24) supports comprised of sections which interconnect to form a substantially rigid structure.
