ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The grid is made up of a number of individual U- shaped, H-shaped or straight elements which interconnect to form the complete grid. The elements are interconnected by means of studs formed on some elements which are accommod- ated within apertures in other elements. Either the studs, the walls of the apertures or both are resiliently deform- able so that the studs can be selectively inserted in the apertures to interconnect the elements. Afterward the studs can be removed from the apertures in order to dismantle the grid. Each element is sufficiently light-weight that it can be readily carried by a single individual.
