The portable object comprises a sealed housing (1) having at least one light-transparent wall (2) and containing a first liquid and a frangible bulb (3) containing a second liquid which reacts on contact with the first liquid to produce luminescence which can be seen through the transparent wall (2) of said housing. The housing (1) is a relatively flat container. The frangible bulb is placed between two walls (2, 4) in said container, one of said walls being relatively flexible so that a user can push it inwards by hand and thereby shatter the bulb (3). The container comprises a cavity (5) forming a bump on one of said walls, whereby the volume of the space between said walls (2, 4) is substantially increased. The object can be used in particular to produce luminescent badges.

L'ampoule cassable (3) est disposée entre deux parois (2, 4) de ce récipient, l'une de ces parois étant relativement souple de façon que l'utilisateur puisse l'enfoncer par pression manuelle pour casser l'ampoule (3). Le récipient comporte une cavité (5) formant un bossage sur l'une des parois, cette cavité (5) augmentant significativement le volume compris entre ces deux parois (2, 4). Utilisation notamment pour réaliser des badges luminescents.
