ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for providing nebulizer treatments to a patient, including during ambulatory periods. The apparatus, which is portable and lightweight, includes a case, which case is internally provided with a compressor, capable of battery operation, which supplies compressed air to a nebulizer. The nebulizer is adapted to contain a medication which is atomized for inhalation by a patient through a mouthpiece or a facemask. The apparatus is sufficiently small and lightweight to be carried by a patient during ambulatory periods.
