ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A portable power chain-saw is disclosed which has oil-scraper apertures formed in a brake-band which engages the clutch drum of a clutch arranged between the drive shaft and the chain sprocket. The edges of these apertures scrape oil, and any other particles, from the surface of the drum to increase the efficiency of the drum and brake-band combination.
