ABSTRACT PORTABLE POWER SAW MILL A portable saw mill has a light weight frame supporting a pulley driven by a hydraulic motor at one side and an idler pulley at the other, with a saw blade entrained on the pulleys, the lower run of the saw blade being exposed for cutting. The mill is moved manually, on parallel guide beams, the level of which is adjustable, by two operators, one at each side, with the frame spanning a log or the like to be sawn. Alternatively, the spacing of guide rollers on the frame extending parallel to the saw blade lower run can be adjusted to control the depth of cut.
