A portable hydraulic press has a rectangular frame comprising a head plate, a base plate, and two side plates. Each side plate has an inwardly-projecting flange attached to each free edge thereof. A platform is slidably positioned inside the side plates and flanges of the frame such that the platform may slide either toward or away from the head plate. A conventional hydraulic bottle jack of selected capacity is positioned inside the frame, with its base against the base plate, and with the end of the ram of the jack engaging a retaining cup mounted to the underside of the platform. Actuation of the jack causes the ram to extend outward from the jack, thereby moving the platform toward the head plate, and compressing a workpiece positioned between the platform and the head plate.
Cette invention concerne une presse hydraulique portable à bâti rectangulaire formé d'un plateau supérieur, d'un plateau inférieur et de deux panneaux latéraux. Chaque panneau latéral comporte un rebord dirigé vers l'intérieur du bâti à chacune de ses extrémités libres. Un table coulissante est montée entre les panneaux latéraux et à l'intérieur des rebords susmentionnés de manière à pouvoir se rapprocher ou s'éloigner du plateau supérieur. Un cric hydraulique ordinaire de capacité appropriée est placé à l'intérieur du bâti, sa base reposant sur le plateau inférieur et l'extrémité libre de son piston se logeant dans une coupelle fixée au dessous de la table. En actionnant le cric, on fait monter le piston qui pousse la table vers le haut, soit vers le plateau supérieur, pour comprimer une pièce placée entre la table et le plateau supérieur.
