Abstract of the Disclosure A lightweight, collapsible sink intended for use by backpackers, campers, and the like. The sink container is provided by a sheet of waterproof material provided with three spaced apart pockets on the outer surface near the top. The upper end of three tied together crossed tripod poles fit into respective ones of the pockets and the sheet depends downwardly therefrom forming a generally tetrahedrally shaped sink. The poles may be provided with the sink or procured locally as and when required. A pouch is sewn to the sheet material which can be used for self storage of the sink for transportation, and a tie cord is provided around the periphery of the container.
