A portable support tool is devised to reduce physical strain and safety risks associated with the lifting, handling, and operation of hedge trimmers and similar operable devices. This invention includes a Belt unit, a Pole unit and a mechanical Cable Feeder unit. A hook connects the Pole unit to a cable feeder that acts to rewind the cord supporting the hedge trimmer. The Belt unit securely fastens around the user's upper torso and holds the Pole unit firmly in place. The Pole unit is flexible and can adjust to various desired angles and support the weight of the device. The Pole unit easily adjusts the movement of the device against the operator's arms and body position.
