A system for automatically and periodically applying moisture to curing concrete that can be transported from one location to another is provided. A portable concrete curing unit receives water from a water source and distributes such water to a moisture applicator that is situated near a curing concrete object. The moisture applicator applies moisture to the curing concrete so as to maintain the concrete object at a desired moisture level during the curing process. The concrete curing unit may contain a power source, a pump, and a controller. The controller is connected to the pump such that the pump will distribute water to the moisture applicator during an activation period. This timing function of the controller allows for a system and method of automatically and periodically curing concrete that can be controlled by the user without extensive need for manual labor during the concrete curing process.
L'invention concerne un système permettant d'appliquer de manière automatique et périodique de l'humidité sur du béton durcissant, ce système pouvant être transporté d'un emplacement à un autre. Une unité portative de durcissement de béton reçoit de l'eau d'une source d'eau et distribue cette eau à un applicateur d'humidité situé à proximité d'un objet en béton durcissant. L'applicateur d'humidité applique de l'humidité sur le béton durcissant, de manière à conserver l'objet en béton à un niveau d'humidité souhaité pendant le processus de durcissement. L'unité de durcissement du béton peut comprendre une source d'alimentation, une pompe et une unité de commande. Celle-ci est connectée à la pompe de manière que celle-ci distribue de l'eau à l'applicateur d'humidité pendant une période d'activation. Cette fonction de synchronisation de l'unité de commande permet à des système et procédé de durcir automatiquement et périodiquement le béton et pouvant être commandés par l'utilisateur, sans besoin de travail manuel prolongé pendant le processus de durcissement du béton.
