The present invention is a portable tray for use with lawn chairs or other chairs. The tray has a tray table with a first arm pivotally attached to the lower surface of the tray table near one side edge of the table. The tray may also include a second arm attached to the lower surface of the tray table near the second side edge of the table. The first arm has straps or other means for securing the arm to a chair arm. Once the arm is secured to the chair arm, the tray table may be pivoted 180° to move out of the way allowing a person to sit down or stand up from the chair. The second arm will engage the second chair arm when the tray table is positioned in front of the person sitting in the tray to provide additional support for the tray table while in use. The tray table may be easily and quickly secured to and removed from a chair arm.
