A system for managing a portfolio by following real-time trading advice based on data information associated with each company security of the portfolio, the system having: a recommendation module for analyzing the data and rating the company in accordance with the data and predetermined criteria in order to issue the trading advice; a web interface including a portfolio frame having a plurality of securities being associated with a transaction option; a recommendation frame having a list of prospective securities associated with a transaction option and selectable for addition to the portfolio, whereby the portfolio can be adjusted by addition or removal of the securities based on the trading advice.
