Abstract A position indicator for an actuating drive comprises a poten- tiometer (1). The resistor (2) has a fixed length and extends between two end connectors (9,10) fixed thereto. The tapping (5) consists of two relatively adjustable arms (3,4) which electrically bridge the resistor section (6) disposed therebetween. The arms can be adjusted with abutments (12,13) in the region of the end connectors (9,10). In this way, one obtains a position indicator of simple construction. Fig. 1
