Provided is a position information providing system which can reduce a time required for acquiring position information. An indoor transmitter (200-1) is adapted to provide position information by using a second positioning signal compatible with a first positioning signal which is a spread spectrum signal from each of a plurality of satellites. The indoor transmitter (200-1) includes an EEPROM (243) which stores therein position data for identifying an installation location thereof, an FPGA (245) operable to generate a second positioning signal including the position data as a spread spectrum signal, and a transmitting section (251 to 258) operable to transmit the spread spectrum signal. The second positioning signal is generated to repeat the same content in a cycle shorter than that of the first positioning signal.
L'invention porte sur un système de fourniture d'informations de position qui peut réduire le temps requis pour acquérir des informations de position. Un émetteur intérieur (200-1) fournit des informations de position au moyen d'un second signal de positionnement compatible avec un premier signal de positionnement sous forme de signal d'étalement de spectre provenant d'une pluralité de satellites. L'émetteur intérieur (200-1) comprend une mémoire morte programmable effaçable électriquement (EEPROM) (243) qui contient des données de position permettant d'identifier une position dans laquelle est situé l'émetteur intérieur (200-1) ; une matrice prédiffusée programmable par l'utilisateur (FPGA) (245) qui génère un second signal de positionnement comprenant des données de position sous forme de signal d'étalement de spectre ; et des unités d'émission (251 à 258) qui émettent le signal d'étalement de spectre. Le second signal de positionnement est généré de façon à répéter le même contenu avec un cycle plus court que le premier signal de positionnement.
